LifeChoices Women's Care, formerly Lutz-Land O’ Lakes Pregnancy Center was incorporated on May 12, 2009. We received our 501c3 IRS tax exempt designation on July 18, 2009. In August 2009, we opened our doors at 1528 Land O’Lakes Boulevard, suite 102, Lutz, for our first clients. 

The founders of the center come from the community and live in both Hillsborough and Pasco counties. All funds for the center are currently from private donations. In January 2010, the center held its first major fundraising event, a banquet, which brought in needed revenue to help the center. Also in January 2010, the formal selection of the Board of Directors was completed, and new by-laws were approved. 

Since August of 2009, many women have come to the center for free services related to their unplanned pregnancies. Client advocates have helped women with positive, life-affirming advice. Also, during this time our web site was launched to provide women with information and guidance. The center also has a Facebook page that is very popular to its supporters.

Lutz-Land O' Lakes Pregnancy Center was the first pregnancy center of its type to open in the Lutz and Land O' Lakes area. The need was apparent even before the first official day of opening, as clients came to the center requesting pregnancy tests and information about resources available to them. With a limited budget from private donations, and a small but growing number of trained client advocates, the center has been able to provide help to women faced with unplanned pregnancies. In February 2010, the center hired its first Executive Director, who has led the marketing and outreach efforts in the communities we serve so that the resources available at the Lutz-Land O’Lakes Pregnancy Center are better known to the target population. On April 8, 2010 we were accepted to participate in the Florida Pregnancy Support Services Program (FPSSP). FPSSP promotes the well-being of Florida's women and families by coordinating and enhancing the efforts of local organizations to increase the availability, quality, and awareness of pregnancy support services that solely promote and encourage childbirth.

As of March 24, 2011, LifeChoices Women's Care is officially a Medical Center with a professional, trained medical staff and has been offering free nursing assessments, pregnancy testing, prenatal vitamins, and limited obstetrical ultrasounds.

On September 1, 2011, LifeChoices Women's care re-located to a new and bigger facility just a mile West of our old location at 1527 Dale Mabry Hwy., Suite 101 Lutz FL 33548.

The mission of LifeChoices Women's Care is to serve its community and surrounding areas by:  

• saving the lives of the preborn,  

• assisting those experiencing pregnancy issues,  

• ministering to the emotional and spiritual needs resulting from pregnancy loss,  

• promoting sexual integrity, and  

• living the truths of our Lord Jesus Christ.  

With a Servant’s heart, we empower women and men to make life-affirming decisions regarding pregnancy through peer counseling, education, and compassionate care.
